Oregon
Roy & I are home! We had an amazing trip of a lifetime visiting so many of our friends and relatives across this wonderful country of ours. Thank you to so many of you who "rode along with us" through this blog and let us know you were enjoying the ride through your emails and Facebook posts. It is good to be home, but my guess is Roy & I will be thinking about our next (much, much shorter) trip in the not-too-far-away future.

Washington
Roy & I went to Seattle to meet up with Scott & Hannah. We had a wonderful time celebrating their engangement along with Hannah's son Jeaquen.
I think my computer has gone crazy again. Sorry about the oversized pictures and the duplicates. You would think by now I would have this blog totally figured out! LOL

Crossing Colorads, Utah & Idaho
Roy & I changed our plans a bit after we left Denver. Scott called and wanted us to come to Seattle to visit with him and his fiance, Hannah - an offer we absolutely could not refuse! So we stepped up our pace a little and set our sights on Seattle

Big tunnel through the mountains. I am not crazy about tunnels in a car. I really don't like them in the RV! |

Colorado
Roy & I went to Denver and visited with my nephew Paul & his wife Tenley and their family. They have 6 wonderful children, all of whom are just darling. There is nothing, in my opinion, as special as spending time with family. We loved every minute we were in Denver.

Back to Texas
Roy & I went back to Texas to visit Alicia & Scott and the children again. We had a wonderful time visiting with the family and playing games with the children. Hopefully Scott & Alicia will be coming to Redmond soon to meet our (growing) family :)

Squire Boone's Caverns
Roy & I stopped in Corydon, IN to catch up on some much needed rest. To our surprise we learned that Squire Boone's caverns were just a short drive from where we were camped out. The caverns were amazing. We went 90' down into the caverns and were able to see formations that are said to be 125 million years old!
The old watermill. |
Squire Boone came here to help his brother, Daniel Boone. |
Amazing! |

Roy & I stopped in Ohio too visit JP & Ginny Maurer. Roy & JP have known each other for their entire lives. They grew up in the same neighborhood and had some great "growing up" stories to share keeping me and Ginny amused!

Niagara Falls
We went to Niagara Falls and were in awe by the sheer magnificence of the Falls! There are no words to describe what it feels like to see something so awesome. The Maid of the Mist was a boat trip under the Falls. Roy & I were in the very front of the boat. Even with rain ponchos we got soaked. LOL The Hurricane Deck at Cave of the Winds was also something not to be missed if you ever go to Niagara Falls. You will unquestionably get soaked (again) even though you are supplied with a rain poncho, but it is so worth it!

Roy & I went back to Massachusetts to help celebrate my friend Pat's son Andrew's marriage. It was so much fun! Two other college friends of mine & Pats came. We had an awesome time catching up and reminiscing about our college days. Lots of laughs! The reception for Andrew & his wife Kathy was really nice. The farm is such a wonderful place for all ages!
All dressed up with someplace to go..... |

Would you admit to knowing us? LOL |
