Grand Canyon
We arrived at The Grand Canyon this afternoon. Pat & Ken arrived about 15 minutes after us. It is so cold! I'll bet with the wind chill factored in, the temps are in the 20's. Courageous souls that we all are, we decided to brave it and go out to the rim and have a look at the canyon. OMG! It is so hard to describe the felling you get looking at something so incredibly beautiful! I have seen a lot of pictures of The Grand Canyon, but nothing prepared me for the almost dizzing feeling you get when you actually see nature at it's best! We are supposed to get snow here tonight and tomorrow and tomorrow night. A possibility of up to 13" is predicted. With no place to push the snow on these narrow roads, travel in our motorhome could be pretty challenging. We are going to wait and see how tomorrow is. If it looks too bad, we will leave here early and get back on the road.

I was thinking of you today and there your are, at the Grand Canyon. I knew you would love it. It snowed here today, but not a bad as it will out there. Feels good to be back on the road huh? And seeing Pat and Ken too I'm sure. Hope you and Roy make out before the big snow. Safe travels and keep warm. Hugs, Izzy

Hope you don't get snowed in! I certainly wouldn't want to be driving that on heavily snow covered roads. Please be careful.
