What a trip! We decieded to leave The Grand Canyon (and our friends Pat & Ken) and head out before the real snow came. We hated to leave The Grand Canyon before we had a chance to see everything she had to offer but nature dictated otherwise. With a forcast of 13" of snow, we decided to head out this morning. We hit snow and slush along the way and winds that actually blew a Fed Ex truck off the road! Fortunately we made it safely to Gallup, NM where we are spending the night. Tomorrow we will travel to Albuquerque, NM where I hope we will be able to get in touch with a cousin of mine.
