Clayton Yacht Club

Roy & I went back to Clayton to spend more time with our friends Sally & Lynn.  We parked our motorhome in their driveway again but spent most of our time at The Clayton Yacht Club or out on The St. Lawrence River on their boat "The Our Gal Sal".  The Clayton Yacht Club is a  small, old-world club that has maintained a certain charm throughout almost a century.  We use to keep our boat, "The Renz Nest" at this club and also across the River at The 1,000 Island Club on Wellsley Island.  It has been such a treat to be able to spend so much time back on The River!

First flight of the baby Osprey.
One is taking off on it's first flight and
the other is coming back in for a shaky landing in the nest.

First flight over The River...

And making a good landing.
How cool is that!

We found our old boat.
It made us both a little (well, maybe a lot) nostalgic.
